HCK Technologies, Inc ("Company", "we", "us", or "our") operates the ShowroomDesk platform ("Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.

Information You Provide

When you register for and use ShowroomDesk, we collect information you provide directly, including:

  • Account Information: Name, email address, company name, and password
  • Billing Information: Payment method details (processed and stored securely by Stripe; we do not store your full credit card number)
  • Business Data: Orders, invoices, client information, sales rep details, commission structures, brand information, and other data you enter into the platform
  • Communications: Messages you send to us via email or support channels

Information Collected Automatically

When you access the Service, we automatically collect certain information, including:

  • Usage Data: Pages viewed, features used, actions taken, and time spent on the platform
  • Device Information: Browser type, operating system, device type, and screen resolution
  • Log Data: IP address, access times, referring URLs, and error logs

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
  • Process your subscription and payments
  • Send transactional emails (account confirmations, password resets, billing receipts, and important service updates)
  • Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your business data for advertising or marketing purposes.

3. Third-Party Services

We use a limited number of trusted third-party services to operate ShowroomDesk:

  • Stripe — Payment processing. When you provide payment information, it is transmitted directly to and stored by Stripe in accordance with their Privacy Policy. We do not store your full credit card details on our servers.
  • Resend — Transactional email delivery. We use Resend to send account-related emails such as registration confirmations, password resets, and billing notifications. Resend processes your email address and message content in accordance with their Privacy Policy.

We only share the minimum information necessary for these services to function. We do not share your business data (orders, invoices, commissions, etc.) with any third party.

4. Data Storage and Security

We take the security of your data seriously and implement industry-standard measures to protect it:

  • All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS/SSL)
  • Data at rest is stored in encrypted databases
  • Multi-tenant data isolation ensures your data is completely separated from other customers
  • Role-based access controls limit internal access to your data
  • Regular security audits and monitoring
  • Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms and are never stored in plain text

While we strive to protect your information, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but will promptly notify you in the event of a data breach that may affect your personal information.

ShowroomDesk uses cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:

  • Essential Cookies: Required for the Service to function, including session management and authentication
  • Analytics Cookies: Help us understand how users interact with the Service so we can improve it

We do not use cookies for advertising or tracking across other websites. You can configure your browser to refuse cookies, but some features of the Service may not function properly without them.

6. Your Rights

7. Data Retention

  • Active Accounts: Your data is retained for as long as your account is active and your subscription is current.
  • Cancelled Accounts: After cancellation, we retain your data for 90 days to allow for account reactivation. After this period, your data is permanently deleted.
  • Billing Records: We retain billing and transaction records for up to 7 years as required by applicable tax and financial regulations.
  • Log Data: Server logs and usage data are retained for up to 12 months and then automatically purged.

8. Children's Privacy

ShowroomDesk is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child, we will take steps to delete it promptly.

9. International Data Transfers

If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer and processing of your data in the United States.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on our website and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
