- Billing Information: Payment method details (processed and stored securely by Stripe; we do not store your full credit card number)
- Business Data: Orders, invoices, client information, sales rep details, commission structures, brand information, and other data you enter into the platform
- Communications: Messages you send to us via email or support channels
Information Collected Automatically
When you access the Service, we automatically collect certain information, including:
- Usage Data: Pages viewed, features used, actions taken, and time spent on the platform
- Device Information: Browser type, operating system, device type, and screen resolution

- Stripe — Payment processing. When you provide payment information, it is transmitted directly to and stored by Stripe in accordance with their Privacy Policy. We do not store your full credit card details on our servers.
- Resend — Transactional email delivery. We use Resend to send account-related emails such as registration confirmations, password resets, and billing notifications. Resend processes your email address and message content in accordance with their Privacy Policy.
We only share the minimum information necessary for these services to function. We do not share your business data (orders, invoices, commissions, etc.) with any third party.
4. Data Storage and Security
We take the security of your data seriously and implement industry-standard measures to protect it:
- All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS/SSL)
- Data at rest is stored in encrypted databases
- Multi-tenant data isolation ensures your data is completely separated from other customers
- Role-based access controls limit internal access to your data
- Regular security audits and monitoring

- Billing Records: We retain billing and transaction records for up to 7 years as required by applicable tax and financial regulations.
- Log Data: Server logs and usage data are retained for up to 12 months and then automatically purged.
8. Children's Privacy
ShowroomDesk is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child, we will take steps to delete it promptly.
9. International Data Transfers
If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer and processing of your data in the United States.
